- lose "amperage" also lose power!

- P=VI (which is what P=I^2*R is derived from.... V=IR)

- the more current you put down a wire, the hotter it gets.
- So you minimize the current by maximising voltage.

- For constant Power value....you get least loss by higher voltage (assuming
- same thickness of wire...)
